BF Legal Services offers Online Notary Services for affidavits, declarations, oaths, and certified true copies in accordance with Ontario’s Commissioners for Taking Affidavits Act and Ontario Regulation 431/20, which authorize remote commissioning via secure audio-visual technology.
Client Responsibilities:
- You are responsible for confirming whether your document is eligible for online notarization. We recommend verifying this with the receiving agency before booking your appointment.
- Please ensure your documents are complete, accurate, and in the correct format (PDF preferred). Upload unsigned versions—our notary will guide you through the electronic signature process.
- If you’re booking for a will or power of attorney intended for use in Ontario, allow at least one business day to arrange for required witnesses.
Certified True Copies:
Remote certification is available only for digital documents. We cannot notarize hard copies such as passports, licenses, transcripts, or degrees remotely.
Pricing:
- Standard Notarization: $20.00
- Business Documents: $25.00
- Certified True Copies: $20.00
- Add-ons (e.g., Exhibits): $10.00 each
- Additional services (e.g., physical copies, mailing) are available upon request.
